Nearlygrass Creates Perfect Fake Grass Garden For Birmingham School |

 Baskerville School in Birmingham is a special day and residential school for students aged 11 to 19 years with autistic spectrum disorders and complex difficulties. They decided to improve the schools facilities and reduce general maintenance by installing an artificial grass surface which will look and feel outstanding all year round.
The school selected Playrite’s Nearlygrass 24, a tightly tufted, durable turf that can withstand many years of constant use whilst still being soft underfoot. A mid height yarn that is manufactured to create natural looking fibres with a 24mm pile height and a special holed latex backing for good drainage. The whole Nearlygrass range requires minimal maintenance and needs no watering or chemical treatments to keep it looking good, what’s more it never needs cutting, weeding or feeding reducing time and money spent and a surface like this can last up to ten years.

Sheila Williams, Business Manager at Baskerville School explained how: "Everyone at the school is really happy with how the Nearlygrass product looks. The area is getting a lot of use already but even with the bad weather we've had still look pristine.
