Govt Must Invest To Reboot The Economy - UCATT |
|
Commentating on the announcement that the Bank of England is no longer predicting any economic growth in 2012, Steve Murphy General Secretary of construction union UCATT, said: "This announcement yet again demonstrates the disastrous failure of the Government’s economic policies. The Government cannot delay any longer they must invest to boost our stalled economy."

As the industry's biggest client, the Government needs to reinstate large-scale investment, particularly into new build social housing, this would reboot construction and help the entire economy return to growth."
