Goodridge Engineering Forgen Wind Generator Reaches Antarctica

The Forgen vertical axis wind generator has reached Antarctica where over 200 units are in use in extreme weather conditions.

This is due to its reliability at extreme temperatures and wind speeds.

Goodridge Engineering Forgen 500 Machines are now being specified by 14 Antarctica/Arctic Survey Organisations worldwide. The machines in open competition with other products have proved they can survive in the most extreme conditions of temperature and wind speed. And keep working! Temperatures down to -60 degrees and wind speeds in excess of 150 knots.

Goodridge Engineering have also expanded into Greenland and the North Pole.
